Yesterday we prepared a strip (thanks Andrew and Nigel) and provided 4 hours of fun flying for visitors to the fete, in between rain showers that had us scattering for cover.
Thank you Nigel, Gary, Richard M and Ricardo H, for bringing along your models and flying. We weren’t over-run with spectators but met new potential members and gave folk a glimpse of our hobby. Among those who came along and intoduced themselves was a professional “drone” pilot. He and his partner have an aerial photography business right here in Okehampton. Hopefully we can expand our relationship with them.
So whilst not as spectacular as the previous weekend it may have been more beneficial for our club in the long term.
